The album begins with the song "Attesa" where the urgent and angry gait of the bouzouki and bansuri riffs counterbalance a bleak vision of today's society while in the background there remains the expectation of a precipitating event that can subvert the order of things. "Voci dal Mediterraneo" is an instrumental piece where the bansuri, played by Francesco Di Cristofaro, evokes passages and landscapes between the earth and the sea. Far away places that arrive errant of hopes and losses. It is the journey of the migrants, of those who have arrived. Of the others there are only the voices lost in the waves, like an echo, a dull lament of absence. "Il Navigante" is a metaphorical tale of the journey of existence, with its moments of calm and warm breeze alternating with moments of storm where the sailor must learn to juggle with his strength alone, with courage and determination. It continues with "La danza dei dannati" which is a substantially political piece where each stanza corresponds to a brief representation of the newspaper. "La Fortuna" recalls the sounds of Crêuza de mä by De André, with bouzouki and the fishermen's sea stories. Reality and dream alternate and mix where the horizon is undefined and the sky merges with the sea. In the end, a beautiful solo cello seems to want to accompany us on the journey that becomes more and more interior as everything around becomes dark and comes in the evening.
