Mediterranean Folk Music Band
In its live performance, the group offers an original encounter between the music of different periods and places within the Mediterranean. In the repertoire there is mainly Greek music, songs in Salento griko and original songs in a continuous exchange between tradition and modern sounds. Some examples: the Epitaph of Sicilo, the oldest song in the world, the Greek rebetiko, Crêuza de mä by De André, the famous Misirlou The instruments used are those of the Mediterranean basin: the Greek bouzouki, the Greek baglamas, the guitar, the mandolin, the Arabic oud, the percussion.
