Mideando String Quartet

The group was founded in 1993 by a 'idea of Stefano Santangelo as a quartet with large country influences. After an initial period of concerts in all the local triveneto Instead, the band started their own path that runs from the country to embrace more pop sounds. Thus began writing original songs their converged then in the first CD entitled "The Winter of Knives" (Fall 2000). To this he was followed by a tour which was then suddenly the live CD "Bootleg" (2001). Over time, the staff of the band has been gradually changing and also the sound has come to move away permanently from the country moving towards pop auteur with a look at the world music and a touch of jazz. Precisely for this particular genre he has been defined by the magazine Strictly Country ACOUSTIC WORLD MUSIC.
